-My grandparents swooped by yesterday and kidnapped Peter until Sunday...so it was nice and quiet and peaceful in the house and I slept in without any trouble this morning... (I do miss him though, partially because Yessy won't leave me alone! The girl LOVES HALO 2!!!@_@)
-Emily talked to our next door neighbor. Mr. Perez wants to give me a JOB!!! O_O Apparently Emily was using the phones to call up his customers for his pest extermination buisiness and since she's going off to college on the 15th...he wants me to take over. ...I HATE phones...but I need the money!! MANGA SPREE!!! WOOT!!! (I mean...save for college...heheh...yeah...)
oh...and best of all..I have a new laptop...
well...okay, not exactly NEW it's a hand-me-down compaq from Emily that my dad fixed up, but considering my old laptop was from the eighties, it's a definate improvement.
I had a real time of trying to get all my text files and stories and junk over there...and one of my disks wasn't formatted, so I lost alot of random poetry I collected, plus most of my old stories wordpad translations--which is okay, because the originals are on my PC still and I can just rebuild.
But it's really exciting for me! This laptop can use CDS!!! AWESOMENESS!!! @_@
